PROJECT
Sanitarium Nurses' Quarters
The Portland Sanitarium Nurses' Quarters was originally built in 1893 for the Seventh-Day Adventist church and was intended to be a prep-school for medical missionaries.
The existing 4-story building underwent construction to add 62 new apartment units and 14 sleeping units added, and complete seismic retrofit for the entire building.

The project consisted of large amounts of saw cutting slab on grade and excavations for new utilities and new foundations.

The project was completed in February 2019.
